Temporary Closure of Mart Road
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along; Mart Road - from 45 metres north of the junction with Vulcan Road, northwards for a total distance of 111 metres. This Order will enable BT Openreach to dig and lay duct. The Order becomes effective on 26th August 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 1st September 2022 and last until 2nd September 2022 between the hours of 21:00 - 06:00 for a total of 9 hours.
