Temporary Closure of Hill Road 

TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Hill Road for a distance of approximately 80 metres. This order will enable Somerset Highways to carry out resurfacing works. The Order becomes effective on 27 November 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 30th November 2020 until 3rd December 2020 between the hours of (00:00 - 23:59) for a total of 4 days. The Secretary of State gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of a north eastern part width of Quay West commencing at the south west corner of the lifeboat boathouse and extending in a northeasterly direction to the south west corner of the lifeboat station at Minehead in the District of Somerset West and Taunton
