Minehead entertained a group from its twin town St Berthevin. The Mayor of Minehead Cllr Val Welch welcomed the party to Minehead on their arrival on the 8th May 2014. On the first full day members of the group explored the area with their hosts while others spent time with Sally Bainbridge of Minehead Conservation Society. In the afternoon their was a walk on North Hill followed by skittles in the evening at the Brittania Inn. Sheppy's Cider Farm was visited on the Saturday to learn about the history of cider making and for the all important tasting. A lunch at Dulverton Town Hall was followed by a visit to the Heritage Centre in Dulverton. On Saturday evening the guests went to country dancing at Minehead First School. A group from Minehead will visit St Berthevin next year.
