
The Mayor Cllr J Parbrook accompanied by her husband Cllr A Parbrook attended the Remembrance Service at the Alcombe Memorial, Manor Road, Alcombe at 12 noon and later in the day at 2.30 pm attended the Sunday Parade musters at the Royal British Legion (Branch Headquarters), Bancks Street, Minehead. At 3.00 pm the Mayor Cllr Jean Parbrook and her husband Cllr A Parbrook also attended a Church Service at the Methodist Church, The Avenue, Minehead. After the service along with other dignitaries and members of the public they made their way from the Methodist Church to the War Memorial on North Hill for the laying of wreaths before returning to the Royal British Legion in Bancks Street, Minehead. This year The Royal British Legion also commemorated the
seventy fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
