At the Annual Full Council Meeting on Tuesday 13th May 2014 a new Mayor Cllr. Les Smith was chosen and Cllr. Ron Bridle was elected as Deputy Mayor of Minehead for 2014/2015. The New Mayor of Minehead Cllr. Les Smith thanked the former Mayor Cllr. Val Welch for all the hard work and commitment she had displayed in her role as Mayor for 2013/2014.
