The Mayor was interviewed by Mike Read, topics included "The Mayor's Role in Minehead, Mike Read spoke about what attractions were there for visitors to Minehead while the Mayor concentrated on reasons why people choose to live here. The Mayor mentioned all the different organisations and activities in the area and thanked the many volunteers. Minehead is also the starting point for the South West Coat Path which starts from the sculpture of a pair of hands that is situated on the sea front.
