There was great excitement in Minehead on Thursday morning as the new Lidl Store was opened by the Mayor of Minehead Cllr Jean Parbrook at 8 am.
The new store is situated in Seaward Way and has created forty new jobs in Minehead. There were many opening offers for the customers who queued to be the first shoppers in the new store.
The new Lidl store also has customer toilets and baby changing facilities.
