For their last civic duty of the year the Mayor and Cllr Andrew Parbrook attended a Christmas Concert in the main hall at West Somerset College. They enjoyed the eclectic mix of musical styles performed by the very talented students.
The Mayor Cllr Jean Parbrook attended the Amnesty International's exhibition at the Methodist Church in Minehead and signed cards which would be sent to non-violent political prisoners. It helps for badly treated prisoners to know that that others are concerned about them.
On the 6th December the Mayor Cllr Jean Parbrook attended the Light Up a Life Service with Cllr Andrew Parbrook. The service is organised by St Margaret's Hospice at St Andrews Church in Minehead.
On the 5th December The Mayor Cllr Jean Parbrook and Cllr Andrew Parbrook had enjoyed the beautiful Christmas music performed at the Somerset Schools Christmas Celebration at Wells Cathedral which was a very uplifting experience.
