The Mayor attended the Christmas Carol Service at the Minehead Baptist Church, The Parks, Minehead for the West Somerset Scouts.

Cllr. Stan Taylor attended the Minehead and District Choral Society Carol Concert at the Methodist Church in Minehead on behalf of the Mayor.
The Mayor presented a painting of the winning poster of the sign for the Reading Rooms, Friday Street, Minehead to a student from Minehead Middle School. The Mayor also presented a gift voucher to the winner from his Mayor's allowance.
In the evening the Mayor and his wife attended a Christmas Carol Service at St Andrew's Church, Wellington Square for St Margarets Hospice. On Wednesday 7th December the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Clerk attended a meeing at Porlock Parish Hall with other Chair-persons and Parish Clerks regarding Devolution and Delegation by request of Cllr. Alan Wright from Porlock
